Does Vicenza H.S. offer any course for a student that needs additional help in Language Arts?
Yes! Our Language Arts Lab Class is designed to enhance student achievement in the content subject areas.

How are students selected for this class?
Students are enrolled in the ELA Lab Class by a review of their Terra Nova Standardized Test scores and by their past academic performance in Language Arts.

Does the Lab Class replace regular Language Arts?

No. The ELA Lab Class is in addition to the regular classroom instruction and will allow students the extra time and help needed to succeed.

Does this course count toward graduation?
Yes. ELA Lab Classes are scheduled within the existing school day, and students will receive elective credit for the course.
