What is the Information Center?
“Information Center,” or “IC” for short is the term used by DoDEA for school library or media centers throughout our system.

What types of resources can a student find in the Information Center?
The IC is full of both print and non-print sources available to both teachers and students. In addition to a varied collection of fiction and non-fiction books, we also subscribe to six online databases. The VMHS IC also houses twenty-one computers.

When is the Information Center open?
We are open for students before, during, and after school. We remain open to students during the entire fifty-minute lunch period.

Can I play games or just surf the web on the computers in the IC?
The computers in the IC are reserved for academic purposes only. You may, however, check your DoDDS-E email account that you are issued shortly after enrolling in our school.
