The following acting class requirements are: one monologue, one acting duet (scene study), one acting in a scene of 3 or more actors (one-act play), Character Analysis, Chapter reviews, Chapter tests, and Lunchtime Productions (a showcase of learned skills and talents) |

Lunchtime Productions is a “showcase” of acting abilities via monologues, scenes, skits, and one-act plays performed during lunch for all students 7-12. |

Stanislavski Method, Method Acting, Uta Hagen –Herbert Berghof Techniques, improvisation, stage directions, sense memory, activities on stage, and blocking a script. |
|
Grades 9-12 may enter drama class. |
|
You will be required to write a character analysis on each character that you perform. You will be asked to write an original scene to perform and/or direct. |

Exploring Theater by Prince and Jackson |
|
You will read a Shakespearean play and view videos of noted actors and actresses. |
