Yes. Middle school students can enroll in a foreign language class.  It is important to note that all foreign language classes count as high school credits.  The work load and amount of studying that is required to be successful in all foreign language classes therefore reflect a high school curriculum.   However, high school courses taken for credit in grades 7 and/or 8 will not be used in the calculation of grade point average or class ranking.
